  • Do I need to use warm water? Can I use room temperature water to mix the formula?

    For healthy, full-term infants, Health Canada recommends using boiled water that has been cooled to room temperature. Remember, once you've started feeding your child, the bottle should be used within 2 hours.
  • How do I prepare a bottle with an odd number of scoops?

    Kabrita Goat Milk-Based Infant Formula requires one scoop of powder per 30 millilitres (mL) of water, making it easy to prepare an odd number of scoops. Prepare Kabrita as directed on the back of the can.
  • What kind of water should I use? Can I use tap water?

    Health Canada advises using boiled water that has been cooled to room temperature to prepare powdered infant formula. You can use tap water if you are sure your tap water is safe. If you are not sure if your tap water is safe to use for preparing infant formula, use bottled water.
  • Why not use regular goat milk to feed my infant?

    Goat milk alone does not contain all the nutrients essential for an infant's growth and development. While goat milk is an excellent base for formula, we add critical nutrients and adjust the protein and fat content to be more similar to breast milk. Goat milk alone is not sufficient for infants!
